Eisner Awards 2009


Na próxima sexta-feira serão anunciados os principais prémios da indústria norte-americana de banda desenhada, na abertura do maior evento da indústria, a Comic-Con de San Diego, nos EUA.

Este ano, não há praticamente presença dos títulos e artistas tradicionais nas grandes nomeações: a editora mais nomeada é a Dark Horse Comics (que publica "Hellboy" e "The Umbrella Academy"), com treze nomeações individuais e cinco partilhadas.

Segue-se-lhe a DC Comics (que publica "Superman", "Batman" e "Wonder Woman", entre muitos outros), com dez nomeações individuais e duas partilhadas (incluindo para a sua marca associada, a Vertigo). Títulos nomeados incluem a história reinventada de "All Star Superman" e "Fables", que conta as histórias infantis com uma nova perspectiva, como melhores série em continuidade, e a nova série "Air".

Em terceiro lugar, está a Marvel Comics (de "Homem Aranha", "Capitão América" e "X-Men"), com nove nomeações individuais e duas partilhadas, incluindo "Thor" como melhor série em continuidade.
